Dr. Jacob K. Curtis is a family physician and obstetrician in Eastern Idaho with expertise in neuropsychology, primary care, and women’s health. He completed his medical education at ATSU’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a family medicine residency at Southern Illinois University and a fellowship in obstetrics and women’s health at Memorial Hospital/University of Notre Dame.

 

Dr. Curtis provides full-scope family medicine, including obstetrics and emergency care, and has been actively involved in medical leadership at local, state, and national levels. He has published multiple journal articles and textbooks, delivered lectures on various medical topics, and even presented a TED talk on the importance of sleep. He currently serves as Chief of Staff for Madison Memorial Hospital and Chief Medical Officer for Grand Peaks Medical.

 

Beyond medicine, Dr. Curtis is deeply engaged in his community, church, and civic groups. He and his wife, Jamie, have been married for 26 years and have five daughters. As a family, they enjoy Idaho’s great outdoors—hiking, camping, boating in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter—along with traveling to warmer destinations.
