Seasonal Sizzle

Erin - Customer Service Department

“I love Key Lime pie, NOTHING says summer quite like this sweet, refreshing pie and it is so easy to make! I love it because it's the VERY FIRST pie I ever learned to make with such ease. Baking for me has always been a passion and  hobby and it just so happens to be my husband and I's favorite pie flavor! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!”

Key Lime Pie Recipe:



• 1 and 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs

• 1/3 cup of granulated sugar

• 6 tbsp of melted butter


• 280z of sweetened condensed milk

• 1/2 cup of light sour cream (or regular, live your life)

• 3/4 cup of lime juice

• lime zest from 2 limes!


Crust Prep:

1. Preheat oven to 375 f

2. mix all your ingredients 

3. form crust in an 8"-9.5" (inch) pie pan

4.  Bake for 7 minutes and let cool for 30 minutes

Filling Prep:

1. Whisk your ingredients together

2. Pour filling into crust

3. Preheat oven to 350 f

4. Bake for 10 minutes

5. Let the pie chill for at least 3 hours!

We rewrote and expanded options for post service notifications. Allowing our Technicians to leave more custom and personalized messaging following an appointment. (Implemented January 2024)

Billing Department Created

As the company continues to grow, we want to ensure you have a specific team to partner with on all of your billing questions & needs. Therefore, we created a new billing department to better serve you.You can reach them via (website, phone, etc.)  (Implemented February 2024)

Improving the Call Quality

As we’ve grown we received feedback from customers that it was getting difficult to hear us when you called our customer service department. We’ve installed new noise cancellation equipment to help reduce the background noise & allows our team to hear you & your needs, so they can take care of you more easily. (Implemented February 2024)

We determined that if we reward our employees for receiving genuine and positive feedback from our Customers that they were more motivated to go above and beyond during their work. Further, it gives a sense of purpose and fulfillment to our employees who in turn are more likely to bring positive energy and engagement to their work. Late Payment Terms and Conditions Change

Based upon feedback from our customers, we have changed our late fee policy. Rather than a flat $25 late fee, overdue invoices will now incur a 2% fee based on the total amount owed after 30 days past the due date. If you have questions about this change in policy please refer to the specific FAQ section here. (This change to the assessed late fee(s) will go into effect as of 7/1/2024)

“On my way” Notifications

When you opt into this feature, you’ll receive a real-time tracker that shows you the location of the technician, while they are enroute to your house. Once the tech arrives the tracking will turn off automatically. (Coming Summer 2024)

Work Order Documentation

Currently in development - comprehensive documentation that outlines service expectations, timeline, outcomes, etc. for our extra services (for example: Rodent Exclusion work, Attic Remediation, Termite related work, etc.) which can be VERY technical and high cost . This document provides a single place for ALL of our departments AND the customer to understand, align, & deliver on the expectations. (Coming Summer 2024)

Loyalty & Renewal Program

We’re hard at work building a customer loyalty program - where we can show you our appreciation for your commitment to Alta. The upcoming program will include savings, benefits, & Alta swag. We look forward to rolling this out later this year! (Coming Summer 2024)

Advanced Notification

In order to increase the convenience for our customers we are increasing the window of when notification for upcoming appointments are sent out. (Coming Summer 2024)

Scheduling Overhaul

Our largest project this year is on improving our scheduling processes, we want it to be easy for you to schedule your visits with us.  We understand that ultimately what matters most is being available for you when you need us most. Our teams have done a LOT of tinkering internally already and are motivated to continue. Our goal is to ensure that a request for an appointment can get delivered in a timely manner under 3 days when needed. (Coming Summer 2024)

Online Chat Options

We have seen success in allowing live chat via our website during business hours for Sales Support. We intend to expand that service to ALL of our customers and with additional hours. (Coming Fall 2024)

More Engaging and Interactive Accounts

Earlier this year, Alta contracted a robust software and is under construction to leverage its abilities in order to deliver more accurate and customized messaging to our customers. We believe this will give our clients even more transparency and control over their accounts and appointments and expectations. (Coming Fall 2024)
